Roads throughout the upper North Island are closed this morning as the tumultuous weather continues.
Forty-five roads across Auckland are closed because of slips and flood damage with Auckland Transport saying they have been working around the clock to get them reopened.
Many State highways Near Auckland, north of Auckland, in the Coromandel and Waikato have also been adversely affected.
