Tanks are on their way to Ukraine.
After weeks of hesitation, Germany has confirmed it will send Leopard 2 battle tanks as well as allow its NATO allies like Finland and Poland to send their german made tanks to fight in the conflict.
Claudia Major from the German Institute for International and Security Affairs says it's a remarkable decision for Germany.
Norway confirmed it will send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, but it's Defence Minister has declined to say how many it will deliver.
The US has also joined the effort.
