Safety concerns for aid volunteers with NZer missing in Ukraine

From Morning Report, 8:10 am on 10 January 2023

There are concerns about the safety of those delivering aid in war-torn regions, after the son of two prominent doctors has been reported missing in Ukraine.

Andrew Bagshaw has been volunteering there since April, delivering food and medicines and helping elderly people move away from the battlefront.

His parents, Philip and Susan Bagshaw, say their son is there because he believed it was the morally right thing to do.

Mike Seawright, the founder of New Zealand aid organisation, ReliefAid spoke to Charlotte Cook.
