The former director-general of health has a new job title.
Ashley Bloomfield stepped down earlier this year after a gruelling few years leading the country through the start of the pandemic, and will join the University of Auckland as a professor in January.
He'll work in the School of Population Health, chairing a new Public Policy Impact unit.
Bloomfield spoke to Corin Dann.
