Researchers are learning more about the weather on Mars with a new audio recording of a giant dust-loaded whirlwind known as a dust devil.
The sound clip of the storm was combined with sensor data to estimate its size, which is over a hundred metres high.
Alexander Stott worked on the microphone that captured the recording.
