Alexa and Siri have become a fairly common part of households in recent years.
The AI assistants offer reminders, answer tricky questions, and can help people to make calls or send emails and text messages.
But what if the robotic voices of Alexa and Siri were replaced by the voices of your friends and family?
That's the concept University of Auckland student Samantha Chan is taking to the Prototypes for Humanity conference held in Dubai this week, with her Kin Voice technology.
