New figures show house prices are continuing to slide with home values in Wellington falling the most, more than 17% percent this year.
Auckland, Napier and Hastings all fell more than 11% and Hamilton and Dunedin were down 10.5% and 10.4% respectively.
The latest QV House Price Index shows the average home decreased in value by 3.9% percent in the three months to the end of October.
