FENZ gives update on Pegasus fire

One hundred and thirty people have been evacuated from a coastal campground north of Christchurch at Pegasus Beach,after a wildfire took hold last night. The fire started about 8 o'clock and travelled south driven by 25 kilometre per hour winds gusting to 50 k's an hour. Fire and Emergency assistant Canterbury Controller Colin Russell spoke to Corin Dann.
