Black Caps batsman Daryl Mitchell says he's relieved to be back in the mix for Twenty20 World Cup selection after missing time with a broken hand.
Mitchell was set to be selected in the New Zealand squad against Afghanistan in Melbourne on Wednesday night, only for the match to be abandoned due to rain.
The Black Caps are now back in Sydney ahead of tomorrow night's match against Sri Lanka - at the scene of their demolition of Australia last Saturday.
Daryl Mitchell told Morning Report producer Ben Strang he's eager to be back out on the pitch.
