New Zealand basketball star Steven Adams has signed a two year, $25 million contract extension with his NBA team the Memphis Grizzlies.
Adams joined the team last year after being traded from the New Orleans Pelicans.
He is already New Zealand's highest paid professional athlete ever, and the new deal will push his career cash earnings to more than $US170 million - that's $NZ300 million.
