The NZ dollar has fallen 2 percent in the past week and is down 17 percent for the year, as it's been caught in the cross fire of high inflation, rising interest rates and global economic uncertainty.
While it's not great news for most New Zealanders goods and services from overseas are likely to cost more for some it presents an opportunity.
