Jacinda Ardern has released details about the next steps after the death of the Queen.
There will be a memorial in the United Kingdom, followed by another in New Zealand. The Prime Minister and Governor General are expected to attend the memorial.
Condolence books will be put out in Wellington. Ardern said she was woken by a police officer shining a light in her room at 5am and knew straight away what it meant.
