Documents reveal police actions toward Northland pair

From Morning Report, 7:18 am on 7 September 2022

A police investigation into the women who prompted an 11-day lockdown in Northland last year shows police didn't lay charges because the women got sick, and couldn't work the jobs they said they would.

The investigation report, released to RNZ under the Official Information Act, does question the true intentions of their travel to Northland, but nothing could be proven.

It also reveals there was a third woman involved with the group.

Sam Olley has the details.
