Migrant doctors who are already in the country, are worried they will be overlooked, as Health New Zealand tries to attract more international doctors.
Around 80 doctors who have graduated from medical schools overseas, say they can't get the hospital internships they need to be fully fledged practitioners here.
Meanwhile workforce shortages continue to plague the sector.
