National and ACT are refusing to support changes to the political donations regime, saying they 'screw the scrum' in favour of the governing Labour party.
A review of electoral laws is common after each general election but the problems around donations are in sharp focus, with Serious Fraud Office charges linked to both Labour and National being heard in the High Court in Auckland.
