New Zealand swimmer Lewis Clareburt has come through Covid-19 and food poisoning to find great form ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Clareburt managed an impressive fourth place at the World Championships in Budapest last month in the 400m individual medley.
Clareburt will also be swimming in the 200m individual medley and the 200m butterfly in Birmingham.
On the Gold Coast in 2018 Clareburt won a bronze medal in the 400m medley, after going in as a relative unknown.
The 23-year-old told sports reporter Bridget Tunnicliffe that his second Commonwealth Games feels very different.
