Champion Olympic rower Eric Murray backs an action plan aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing of high-performance athletes.
The plan released yesterday by Cycling New Zealand and High Performance Sport New Zealand, promises greater transparency about key processes.
The report made more than 90 recommendations, including various wellbeing initiatives, and the appointment of a Women's Health Lead.
It follows the death last year of cyclist Olivia Podmore, who was a close friend of Murray's.
Murray spoke to Corin Dann.
