Police remain at the scene of a shooting in the Auckland suburb of Grey Lynn.
Armed police swarmed Wallingford Street shortly after 5pm on Monday after reports of a man in an agitated state was standing on the street with a gun.
Police shot and critically injured the 32-year-old who had been firing at his own house, although there was no-one inside.
