Rural residents in Tairāwhiti fed up with huge potholes and dangerous slips are accusing the council of not doing enough to deal with the terrible state of their roads.
But with four major storms in the last eight months, the council says it doesn't have enough time or money to keep up. It's already spent nine times its storm clean-up budget.
