More than 26,000 people filled Mount Smart Stadium at the weekend to watch the return of international rugby league to New Zealand after a three-year absence.
New Zealand was hosting Mate Ma'a Tonga but it was clear from the red flags and clothing, most were supporting the visitors, with Tongan church hymns sung throughout the stadium.
