Most planned surgeries around the Wellington region are being delayed for another month.
The Capital and Coast and Hutt Valley DHBs say it's due to a range of challenges, including Covid-19, illness levels among staff, and high levels of vacancies.
Services had already been reduced over the last two weeks.
