A man who lives near the site of the crash that killed seven people south of Picton yesterday says he's constantly expecting the next accident on that stretch of road.
A van and a truck collided near Koromiko on State Highway 1.
Two survivors from the van remain in hospital - one of them in intensive care - while the truck driver suffered minor injuries.
Rick Rawlings told Morning Report residents know when they hear sirens and loud bangs that there's been another crash.
He says the road needs to be widened and the speed limit lowered.
