A report due out today is expected to outline an alternative system for pricing agricultural emissions.
Three years ago the government agreed to let the primary sector develop a plan outside the Emissions Trading Scheme, and industry groups and government officials under the umbrella of He Waka Eke Noa have been doing just that.
But Greenpeace Aotearoa holds concerns about the sector making its own rules.
