New Zealand driver Scott Dixon has had his hopes of another Indy500 win dashed by a pit lane speed violation Dixon started in pole position after setting a new speed record in the qualifying lap, averaging 376.6-6 kilometres an hour.
But late in the race he was penalised for being too fast while coming out of the pit. And it wasn't a good race for his fellow New Zealander Scott Mclaughlin either, who crashed out of the race early on.
Kurt Darling from WIBC Radio in Indianapolis spoke to Corin Dann.
