Tuturuatu flown to new home in Napier

Nine criticially endangered shore birds have safely made it to a new home. The tuturuatu or shore plover hatched in January and were flown to Napier earlier this month. The species is so rare there are only around 250 left. Department of Conservation spokesperson Dave Houston spoke to Susie Ferguson.
