A new immigration Green List to help solve the country's skilled worker crisis has outraged nurses who say it won't help hospitals fix their chronic shortage of frontline staff.
The border will be fully opened from the end of July - two months earlier than planned.
There's also a plan to help migrants get residence sooner and while doctors and engineers are on a fast-track list, others like nurses, will have to wait two years.
