A decision by the coroner to investigate the role social media played in the Christchurch terror attack has been called a "landmark moment".
In an earlier decision, the Coroner's Court ruled that the role of social media was out of scope of the coronial inquiry.
Now it will examine whether the terrorist's online activity played a role in his radicalisation.
