Taranaki DHB wants pulse oximeters back

From Morning Report, 7:40 am on 3 May 2022

The Taranaki District Health Board wants its pulse oximeters back.

Hundreds are in circulation with people who've now recovered from Covid-19.

They don't come cheap - at about $90 each - and they're needed for new patients.

It's not the only the DHB wanting them back.

Last month the MidCentral DHB offered $20 grocery vouchers for the return of its pulse oximeters.

Taranaki District Health Board chief operating manager Gillian Campbell spoke to Susie Ferguson.
