Johnny Depp's testimony enters third day

From Morning Report, 6:45 am on 22 April 2022

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is being cross examined by his ex wife Amber Heard's defence lawyers.

Heard is being sued for defamation for implying her former husband had abused her in a 2018 opinion piece for the Washington Post.

In the article Heard did not mention Depp but described herself as a victim of domestic violence.

Depp's testimony is now in it's third day and he has accused Heard of having violent outbursts and bullying him.

Variety senior VP global content/executive editor Steven Gaydos spoke to Corin Dann.
