Hundreds of young people will be out on the weekend helping to clean graves of returned servicemen in readiness for Anzac Day.
The work is being done on behalf of the New Zealand Remembrance Army, a volunteer group set up five years ago to restore and maintain war graves.
The group's founder Simon Strombom spoke to Mani Dunlop.
