UK Justice Minister David Wolfson has resigned in protest after Prime Minister Boris Johnson was fined for breaking Covid-19 restrictions in the form of a string of parties at his home.
Johnson is the first serving UK Prime Minister to be sanctioned for breaking the law.
Johnson and chancellor Rishi Sunak have so far rejected calls for them to resign over the fines.
