Australians go to the polls to vote for their next federal government in six weeks, with Prime Minister Scott Morrison confirming that the election will be held on May 21.
The campaign pits Morrison's Liberal-National Coalition against a Labor Party led by Anthony Albanese. Morrison is putting the economy at centre stage.
Albanese says Morrison's coalition government has not earned a fourth term in office.
In the current House of Representatives, the coalition has 77 seats and Labor 68.
The polls are suggesting a possible Labor win, but the polls suggested that last time, too.
