Covid-19: Recovered cases at greater risk of serious blood clots

Covid-19 patients are at greater risk of developing a serious blood clot, six months after infection.

Researchers in Sweden tracked the health of more than one million people with Covid-19, between February 2020 and May 2021.

People with severe Covid-19 had the highest clot risk, which researchers say highlights the importance of vaccinations.

Umea University in Sweden principal study investigator Anne-Marie Fors Connolly spoke to Corin Dann.
