Sydney has recorded its wettest March on record, as flash flooding forces residents across New South Wales to flee their homes for a second time this month.
Evacuation orders are in force across the state, with some regions in the north pummelled by more than 430 millimetres of rain.
A search is on for a woman believed to be missing in the northern suburb of Lismore, as the town's levee is once again breached.
