Local music fans are still digesting the news that the death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins may not have been, as was initially though, a heart attack, but possibly an overdose.
Hawkins died on Saturday while on tour with the band in South America.
The drummer was 50 -- the same age as Michael Jackson, Joe Strummer and Dee Dee Ramone when they died.
The band's current tour has now been cancelled, with no word on whether they will play a show that had been scheduled for New Zealand this December.
