Unvaccinated teachers could remain barred from some jobs when the vaccine mandate for schools ends in twelve days.
The Education Ministry has told schools they can require vaccination for some roles even though the government is lifting its mandate on 5 April.
Several thousand teachers and other school staff lost their jobs after the rule was introduced in 2021.
