Ukrainians in Aotearoa say action must be taken quickly after Parliament passed a bill to toughen sanctions on Russia.
All political parties supported the Russia Sanctions Bill and this means significantly tougher moves can be made.
Ukrainians said it was ludicrous if they had to wait weeks for the Government to figure out how they would apply the sanctions.
