The National Party is preparing to support the government to urgently pass law to target sanctions against Russia, its political leaders and wealthy oligarchs.
The proposed Russian Sanctions Bill also would give the Government the power to freeze assets in New Zealand and stop more money coming here; and also extend the sanctions to those supporting the Russian invasion, like Belarus' leaders.
