Not a cent of a $3 million boost in funding for victims of serious crimes has been spent in the seven months since it opened for applications.
The extra money was invested in the Victim Assistance Scheme - administered by Victim Support on behalf of the Ministry of Justice - out of Budget 2021.
It was supposed to help more sexual violence survivors and those affected by WorkSafe, Maritime and Aviation prosecutions but so far it has benefited no one.
