Dozens of protestors hurled chairs, metal poles, a length of four by two - anything they could find at the line of officers on Thursday as they worked to clear the protest near parliament.
When they ran out of things to throw, they started digging up bricks from the footpath on Lambton Quay.
After 23 days the tent town with its kitchens, toilets and makeshift school are all gone and a massive cleanup will have to get underway. and as of late last night, 87 people had been arrested.
