The police association says some officers who resigned rather than get a Covid-19 vaccination have been seen protesting at parliament, facing down their former colleagues on the front line.
Now the High Court has quashed the vaccine mandate for police and Defence Force staff, so unvaccinated officers who resigned, were stood down or took leave without pay, stand to be back on the beat.
Police Association president Chris Cahill says they all should be allowed to return to work.
