The latest Covid-19 modelling shows Auckland and Northland could reach 4000 daily cases, or 9000 if people don't take up the booster shot.
That's a significant increase from last month when Counties Manukau DHB director of population health Dr Gary Jackson projected a peak of 1800 across the Northern Region.
