Thirty years in the making - Whangarei's Hundertwasser Arts Centre opens this Sunday.
The world-famous Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasserspent his final years living in the Bay of Islands before he died in 2000.
The centre was his last unbuilt design, until it finally got off the ground in 2018.
