A protest in central Christchurch that began in December is growing.
Christchurch City Councillor Jake McLellan of the central city ward, says there are now more than 50 people camped on the 1.9 hectare Cranmer Square.
McLellan says it's hard for locals who live in the area.
He spoke to Susie Ferguson.
