In Wellington police and protesters will face off again today on Parliament grounds.
One hundred and twenty two people were arrested yesterday and charged with trespass with more arrests expected today.
Flood lights last night to help them monitor those camped out.
Wellington District Commander Superintendent Corrie Parnell said 150 police have been brought in on top of the 900 hundred staff already in the district, and that number will grow in the coming days.
He also said some protesters had weapons.
On Thursday one of the organisers of the protest Derek Broomhall said protesters have been peaceful, and any incidents of aggression were "planted" by government and media.
He said it's the police who have been aggressive.
