An historic agreement that recognises Māori interests in radio spectrum has been signed at Parliament.
The agreement, designed in partnership with the Māori Spectrum Working Group, is a chance to build Māori capability in spectrum-related industries.
The Government says the deal recognises the critical role Māori are able to bring to the telecommunications sector.
Working group acting convenor and Ngā Kaiwhakapūmau i Te Reo chai Piripi Walker, of Ngati Raukawa ki te tonga, spoke to Corin Dann.
