From Morning Report, 7:28 am on 3 February 2022

Two-hundred-and-fifty people have tested positive on arrival in China, but so far that's within the limits expected and is considered manageable.

New Zealand chef de Mission Marty Toomey is being reported in the New Zealand Herald confirming a number of New Zealand athletes have returned positive results.

New Zealand chef de Mission Marty Toomey is quoted as saying the New Zealanders who tested positive may well be shedding viral load after having earlier recovered from having the virus.
