Covid-19: Wealth gap widened in pandemic - research

Research is showing that the wealth gap in New Zealand has grown wider due to the government's Covid-19 policies.

Financial journalist Bernard Hickey has analysed 21 months of data looking at Stats NZ figures around how households, businesses and the Government spend.

The net worth of businesses has increased more than $300 billion but those already struggling were squeezed further.
