A trans and non-binary researcher says it felt amazing watching a bill that will ease the process of changing the sex on someone's birth certificate pass its final reading.
The legislation passed under unanimous support from all political parties. It means people will no longer require proof of medical treatment - or have to persuade a court - to correct their sex.
