Tai Tokerau Border Control says it will work hard to keep traffic moving at two Northland checkpoints this summer.
Regional coordinator Rueben Taipari and his teams will join police at checkpoints on State Highway 1 at Uretiti and on State Highway 12 near Maungaturoto.
Police will stop vehicles, and Taipari's teams will check for vaccine passes.
